I’m not sure how it’s happened but, somehow, this blog recently reached 1,000 subscribers! I started this blog on a whim back in 2011 and wasn’t even sure if I’d keep it up, let alone that people would actually be interested enough to subscribe. So, blimey, thank you! To thank everyone who’s read this blog over the past 3 years and to celebrate, it only seemed right to have a big competition! I’ve teamed up with Tsunami restaurant, MVM Entertainment and Kikuya Kanzashi to bring you three awesome prizes, so there’s something here for everyone. All you have to do to enter is comment on the blog post below and say which prize or prizes you’d like to win and like/follow the company of the prize you want. Entries will close at 9pm Sunday 1st March and the three winners will be contacted.
Here are the three prizes:
Lunch for two at Tsunami in London [Twitter] [Facebook] [Instagram] [Website]
You might remember I reviewed Tsunami’s Clapham restaurant back in January and had plenty of great things to say about their food. Tsunami are very kindly offering a fantastic prize of a lunch for two at either their Clapham or West End branch (both in London). If you’d like to win this prize, just comment below and, if you win, you can tell Tsunami which restaurant you want to go to.
ef: a Tale of Memories and Melodies Collection [Twitter] [Facebook] [Website]
I consider the guys at MVM Entertainment long-standing friends of this blog and they’ve sent me so many good anime series to review in the past. The anime prize up for grabs this time is ef: a Tale of Memories and Melodies Collection, a really charming and sweet series I reviewed a while back. If you’d like to win this prize, just comment below and, if you win, you’ll be emailed for your postal address.
Beautiful kanzashi ‘aichiyo’ hairpiece from Kikuya Kanzashi [Twitter] [Facebook] [Website]
Kikuya Kanzashi make beautiful tsumami kanzashi hair pieces inspired by the maiko and geisha of Japan. I’ve been a fan for a while and bought my friend a lovely red one for Christmas, and am probably going to buy a few more as more birthdays come up. You can check out whether Kikuya Kanzashi will be coming to an event near you here and visit her store in the link above, as well as try your luck in this competition! If you’d like to win an aichiyo kanzashi, just comment below and, if you win, you’ll be emailed and asked for your postal address. Again, a huge thank you to Tsunami, MVM, Kikuya Kanzashi, and to you – the subscribers present and future! I’m going to Japan on what should be the ultimate trip of my life in April and there’ll be plenty of new and interesting content coming to the blog for the rest of 2015, so stick around! What are you waiting for? Get entering now!
